From Ashley Walters Ingvoldstad, MD:

I admit -- I have a "type A" personality and am compulsively neat. So, I tend to find OCD an easy diagnosis to relate to. I have seen many people with true OCD improve tremendously with education, medication and psychotherapy, and I believe that the Internet is an amazing tool that can reach people who might be hesitant about reaching out for help themselves. I hope that I am able to share some of what I have learned from others here and, in doing so, offer help to those who may benefit from it.
